This prosthetic arm complete with hook hand and should strap was likely worn by a soldier returning from world war two. This arm would be worn on the left side of the body. There is a leather cable guided harness that straps around the should and neck to hold this arm in place. The arm can be locked into place at the elbow joint or released by moving the harness in a certain way. The claw is also controlled with cables in the harness. This piece is in good antique condition. This arm measures 15.5" from the shoulder down to the elbow, while the forearm measures 16". The "hand" measures 5" long with 3" long hooks. The diameter of the sleeve is 4.5". JM - 072922 - 104765
