This lamp was developed by S. Robert Schwarts & Co. of New York, New York some time in the early 1930s. The Edon brand was developed alongside famous names such as Faries and O.C. White. Not much is known about the Schwarts company aside from their manufacturing of lamps between the 1920s-1930s, which is why these lamps are so often mistaken for other kinds.

The shade on the lamp was manufactured by Acme Illuminating and Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois. The outside of the shade has been cleaned, wire brushed, and clear coated to bring it back to its original beauty. The interior shade is made up of a number of small mirrors which provide a brilliant and one-of-a-kind look to your space. Vintage style filament bulbs are expressed and complimented well, as photographed. The lamp features two articulated friction joints that allow the lamp to be positioned in a variety of ways. The lampshade is attached via a common new uno ring and can be detached if desired. The lamp has been completely rewired with new braided cloth wiring and a plug is attached.
