An American-made Fender Mustang. This unique guitar has clay-dot fret inlays which stopped being in production in 1964, leading us to believe that this may have been one of the last clay-dot inlay Mustangs to have been produced. Serial number can be found on the underside of the neck.
The original pickups have been rewound and covered with the appropriate pickup covers. This guitar was set up and restored by luthier Rob Bakes and is ready for many more years of play or display in a collection. Pots are original. The body has a wood grain finish. It is believed that the guitar was once painted and has since been sanded down. Small knicks can be seen on the body, please refer to photographs for details. The original factory case is included with this sale. The case has some significant wear but is still apt for transportation and protection of the guitar.
