This antique cabinet appears to originate from a farm where it was used to store seed or feed in the divided sections. The top flips open on the original hinges. A label describing other intended uses from the manufacturer is on the side and is dated 1808 by the American Glue Company. We estimate that this cabinet was made somewhere around the 1850s with consideration to the condition of the cabinet and the way it was constructed.
This cabinet is surprisingly lightweight and can be easily moved around by 1-2 people. The cabinet has overall dimensions of 42" x 22" x 37". The interior partitions each measure 18" x 20.5" x 32" with respect to the slanted top making it taller or shorter at certain points.
