This wooden coat rack comes from pre-war Germany and was likely used in a barbershop given the coat hook details. The rack has been beautifully preserved in a private collection for decades and is now available to the public. The upper rack rotates around the tree, while the pan at the base allows you to dry your umbrella. Fine woodworking details can be found throughout by the trained eye - such as the conical shaping of the mid-section twist-in pegs or the angular foot joiners. This coat rack is overall an exceptional piece.
The dimensions are 78" in height and 22" in diameter at the base.
