Sargent Cigar Chests were patented on Dec. 22nd 1908, though this particular chest likely originated around the late 1920s as indicated by the tobacco burst image residing under the lid. These humidors are constructed of oak and lined with porcelain. This chest is missing its locking mechanism as well as its key. The lid of this chest features a nameplate engraved, Seward Prosser, though it has not yet been proven this chest may have belonged to the 1914 president of the Bankers Trust.
The overall dimensions of this chest measure 22.50"W x 13.5"D x 13.25"H with interior dimensions measuring 18.75"W x 10"D x 9"H.
