This extraordinary and complete draftsmans kit tucks away neatly into its briefcase. Upon opening, one will find a drafting surface that can removed from the case as well as a t-square. Further inspection will lead you the individual cubbies containing a myriad tools, pencils, and curios relevant to the profession - an assortment of leads, a mechanical supplement curriculum book, several pre-made blueprints, and more can be found inside. On the left side of the kit a compartment with an array of tools is stored. This set of tools, made in Germany, once belonged to the American School of Chicago, IL. In addition to each of the tools and guides, a small rice paper book can be found with a protective cover. "Useful Information For Businessmen, Mechanics, and Engineers" has writings on a wide array of topics with tidbits on different screw sizes, general first aid, and even the entire constitution of the United States.

This kit measures 20" x 14" x 4" without the t-square resting inside the case. The t-square measures 26" in length.
