Large antique balance scale in glass case.
37"W x 17"D x 36"H.
This antique scale is rare thanks to its large size. Manufactured by Seederer-Kohlbusch began making these scales during the mid 1800's, though this model likely originated during the 1940s or 1950s.
The balances in this scale were used to determine masses of samples, your sample would be placed on one pan while calibrated masses would go onto the other pan.
This scale is constructed likely of mahogany and features two lifting glass sides and a bottom drawer that pulls out to reveal weights and balances.
