This vintage Tellurian was manufactured by the T.N. Hubbard Scientific Co. in 1955. A Tellurian is an apparatus for demonstrating the earth's position and movement producing day and night cycles as well as seasonal cycles. Each concept is demonstrated individually by manually moving the arm, earth or moon. The chain and gear drive maintains the north-pointing axis of the earth.
The overall dimensions of this Tellurian measure 21" in length, 8.5" in depth with a standing height of 12".
