This machine was once used for the detonation of blasting powder manufactured by the Atlas Powder Company. The motor still works and when the plunger is raised and then pushed down a small electrical charge will be produced to amusing effect. This can be used to activate all kinds of new electronics such as light bulbs or lighted signs. The box is sturdy is easy to carry with the attached leather strap.

Please note, Industrial Artifacts must insist that this machine is no longer of any operational use for it's once intended purpose and should be set up for display purposes only. Minor electrical shock can occur at the terminals. This item is not recommended for households with children. Please use discretion at time of purchase.

We ship smaller objects with UPS and USPS. All shipments are fully insured and adhere to carrier packing guidelines. Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. FREIGHT SHIPPING

We work with a number of freight carriers and private drivers, and are happy to assist buyers in finding suitable shipping arrangements for large items. Please reach out to us for quotes and more information about your shipping options. 

Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping costs of all items that are too large to ship parcel. Moreover, all shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the responsibility for the shipment passes to the buyer the moment the shipment leaves our dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
