This antique combination shoe shine stand and bathroom stool was manufactured by the Chas. Geiser Co. in Chicago, Il. This stool originated during the 1920s and features blue chipped paint. Constructed of wood this stool features a hinged seat top that opens to reveal the retractable shoe shine rest. The shoe shine rest when pulled up, locks into its highest position. It has a thumb latch release so you may retract it back into the stool. Below the rest there is space that would have been used to store polishes and brushes.

The overall dimensions of this piece measure 16" in height with a diameter of 13".
