Early Hand Painted Figural Pocket Knife Sign

This figural sign is made in the resemblance of a black pocket knife and folds open to close on a hinge. This large sign likely sat for many years in a store selling hunting goods and hardware.

This sign measures 39.5" x 7" and is 2" deep when closed. When opened, the sign measures approximately 57" in length. The blade opens about 3/4 of the way and is thick enough to be sat on its edge. The sign is made of painted wood.
