This globe is in very good condition for its age and perhaps the best condition for one of these that we've seen online. There are scratches, stains, some surface rust, and a small dent that you would imagine something from the 1940's would have, but it appears to have been fairly well cared for over the years. The globe was made by Denoyer Geppert Co. in Chicago, IL during the World War II era. It was used for planning military and navy maneuvers. The globe spins freely. The globe can adjust drastically in height between 51" and 71" tall. The globe is about 20" or so in diameter. Don't let this one slip away, you aren't likely to see one of this quality again any time soon!
