This absinthe set features a Rosier Fee Absinthe Fountain, two Cusenier Absinthe Dripper Auto Verseur's, four exact reproductions of the Les Feuilles d'Absinthe spoons, a colander, a pedestal stand as well as an antique saucer. These particular spoons were used in the traditional French and Swedish preparations of Absinthe during the 19th century.
This set offers two different systems for louching your Absinthe, the first of course being the fountain. This fountain was imported from Germany and features hand blown glass including a blue iridescent fairy atop of its globe as well as four spouts. This set also includes two Cusenier Absinthe dipper Auto Verseur. These drippers also perform the act of louching.
Absinthe saucers served a dual purpose during the pre-ban absinthe era, besides serving as a coaster they also functioned to indicate the price of the absinthe being served. This particular saucer is marked 3f and is lined in green paint. The color of the plate corresponds with its price. This saucer was manufactured in Paris, France during the late 1800s.
