This handmade parts cabinet appears to have been constructed with broken down Kodak shipping crates. These crates likely originated in the early 1950s. This parts cabinet would have belonged to an electricians workspace as its drawers are labeled: 3 hole outlet, plug ends, conduit and BX connectors, switches and fuses.
The overall dimensions of this cabinet measure 21"W x 12"D x 18"H. The top drawer measures 17.75"W x 8.75"D x 2.5"H. The following row has two small drawers of different dimensions. The drawer labeled "3 hole outlet" measures 8.75"W x 9"D x 1.75"H. The drawer labeled "Plug ends" measures 6.5"W x 6.25"D x 1.75"H, this drawer also features a divider.
The third row drawer measures 17.75"W x 8.75"D x 3"H, with the last bottom drawer measuring 17.75"W x 8.75"D x 2"H.
