Framed stained glass window featuring a torch bordered by a laurel wreath and trailing ribbons.

In Ancient Greek and Roman symbolism, the wreath held various meanings, including: strength, victory, eternity, and remembrance. Paired with a torch and ribbons, the symbol takes on a greater, Olympic meaning as victors in Ancient Greece would carry the torch after being adorned with a laurel wreath. The glass includes opaque portions in a dazzling array of colors, true to the symbols they represent. The window is housed in a solid oak frame, stained in a rich and dark varnish.

This piece exhibits moderate signs of wear including a small missing portion of glass in the bottom right (as shot in first photo) corner and a small crack in the glass at the bottom beneath the torch.

PARCEL SHIPPING

We ship smaller objects with UPS and USPS. All shipments are fully insured and adhere to carrier packing guidelines. Shipping costs for smaller items being shipped within the continental United States are free up to $100. If a parcel shipment exceeds $100, the remaining costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please reach out to us for a free shipping quote on items you are interested in purchasing and note that international shipments may incur additional shipping cost.

FREIGHT SHIPPING

We work with a number of freight carriers and private drivers, and are happy to assist buyers in finding suitable shipping arrangements for large items. Please reach out to us for quotes and more information about your shipping options. 

Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping costs of all items that are too large to ship parcel. Moreover, all shipments are considered FOB (Free on Board), meaning the responsibility for the shipment passes to the buyer the moment the shipment leaves our dock. Any risk of loss or damage after this point is assumed solely by the buyer. In the event of damage or loss, we are happy to assist buyers in the claims process if we helped coordinate the shipment. However, we are not responsible for any damages, loss, or deductibles.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All shipments going outside of the continental United States will require consultation prior to shipping. Items will be crated and shipped by boat or by air at the buyer's expense. Please contact us regarding any questions you may have.
