c. 1890s - 1900s: Frost King - Muskegon, MI

Antique oak icebox with original brass hardware.

This piece features cabinet-style doors that latch in place to prevent any disruption to interior cold air circulation. It is lined with galvanized tin panels, though some surfaces have paint. Due to the cost of manufacturing materials, iceboxes like this one were considered "premium" at the turn-of-the-century and would have only been seen in the homes of well-to-do families.

Exhibits minor signs of wear including some paint chipping and scratches/scuffs. However, for a 100+ year old refrigerator, its in pretty good condition all things considered.

31.5" W x 16.25" D x 42.5" H
